Seminole Heating & Air is preparing to bring locally focused heating and cooling service to Tallahassee and surrounding communities. We are not accepting service requests yet.
Until then, we're building a useful resource for North Florida homeowners covering air conditioning, heat pumps, humidity, indoor air quality, HVAC maintenance and the challenges our climate creates for home comfort systems.

HVAC Service Built for Tallahassee
North Florida asks more of a residential HVAC system than most of the country does, and the equipment shows it.
Our cooling season runs from early spring well into the fall. Systems here log hours that would take two seasons to accumulate in a cooler climate, and they do it while fighting humidity that never really lets up. That combination is why condensate drains clog, coils foul, and capacitors give out earlier here than the manuals suggest.
Spring coats everything in oak and pine pollen. Summer afternoons bring storms and the power interruptions that come with them. Winters are mild enough that heating equipment sits unused for months, then gets asked to carry a hard freeze in January with no warning.
Knowing that pattern changes the work. It shapes how systems get sized, which failures get checked first, and why humidity control matters as much as temperature in a house that reads 74 degrees and still feels damp.

Everyone deserves a safe home during a North Florida summer. Seminole Seniors is a future community assistance initiative intended to help qualifying local seniors and residents with disabilities facing essential heating and cooling needs.
